Direct to Film printing —
any fabric, any color, any quantity.
DTF is one of the most versatile printing technologies available today. Unlike sublimation, it works on any color fabric — dark, light, or bright — with zero pre-treatment required and zero compromise on quality.
Professional DTF printing in production
Multiple printers running simultaneously for high-volume output
Heat press bonding the transfer to fabric
Precision temperature and pressure for a permanent, vivid result
What is DTF printing?
Direct to Film (DTF) printing is a digital process that prints your design onto a special PET transfer film using water-based CMYK inks and a white ink base layer. The film is then coated with a hot-melt adhesive powder, cured in an oven, and heat-pressed directly onto your garment or product. When the film is peeled away, what remains is a vivid, flexible, durable print that's bonded into the fabric — not sitting on top of it.
The white ink underbase is the game-changer. It means your design pops on black, navy, red, grey — any color background — with full color accuracy and zero washout. This is where DTF has a clear edge over sublimation, which is limited to white or light substrates.
Step 01
Design prep
Your artwork is color-profiled and RIP processed to ensure accurate ink layering and white base coverage.
Step 02
Film print
Design is printed onto PET transfer film — CMYK colors first, white underbase second — using our professional DTF printers.
Step 03
Powder & cure
Hot-melt adhesive powder is applied and cured in our oven, activating the bond that will lock the design to fabric.
Step 04
Heat press
Transfer is pressed onto the garment at precise heat and pressure. Film is peeled — design stays permanently bonded.

What we can print on
If it fits under a heat press, we can almost certainly print on it. DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, denim, canvas, fleece — and select non-textile surfaces including leather, certain plastics, and more.
Where DTF shines
Any fabric color
White ink underbase means full-color prints pop on black, navy, red — any background, no washout.
Photographic detail
Fine lines, gradients, and photorealistic images all print in a single pass with zero color count limits.
Wash durability
DTF prints bond deep into the fabric. They resist cracking, peeling, and fading through repeated washes.
Any fabric type
Cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, fleece, denim — no pre-treatment needed on any of them.
Fast turnaround
No screens, no plates, no setup fees. Artwork in, transfers out — production starts immediately.
Any quantity
Equally efficient at 1 piece or 10,000. Cost per unit drops significantly at volume.
DTF vs other methods
DTF isn't always the right tool — but it covers ground the others can't. Here's how it stacks up:
Sublimation
White & light fabrics only. Ink becomes part of the material. Best for all-over prints on polyester.
DTF
Any fabric, any color. Photographic detail. No pre-treatment. Works on cotton, poly, blends, nylon and more.
Screen printing
Best for massive runs of simple designs. Requires screens per color. Not ideal for detail or small batches.
Gang sheets — transfers only
Just need the transfers? We do that too.
If you have your own heat press setup and just need the printed transfers, we offer gang sheets — your designs nested efficiently on a single roll or sheet of DTF film, ready for you to press yourself. This is a popular option for other print shops, decorators, and small business owners who want to keep pressing in-house while outsourcing the print side. We'll optimize your layout to maximize coverage and minimize waste. Contact us with your artwork and quantities and we'll get you a quote.
Our standard
Color accuracy & quality control
We are obsessive about color.
Every print is held to that standard.
We use only top-of-line DTF inks with calibrated RIP profiles on every job. Color accuracy isn't a checkbox — it's how we operate.
Our team reviews every job before it ships. We run professional-grade inks that are color-profiled and calibrated specifically for our equipment — not generic off-brand supplies. What you see in your design file is what you get on the garment. If something is off, we catch it before it ever reaches you. That obsession with quality is baked into every order, whether it's 10 pieces or 10,000.
